Publishing our first issue on July 4th was not accidental.  What better time to publish our first issue of writeyourownstories™.com© than on a day when our country was liberated, because you as a reader of a newspaper that allows you to write your own story and publish it for a small fee (first week is free) has just been liberated. 

On this first day of our existence, we offer to you, our readers, the opportunity to write your own stories™ and tell your story as only you can.  The goal of this newspaper is for it to be filled with the stories you write.   It is time to get our voices back and shout out to the world.

This newspaper was born as a result of being restricted from doing just that and seeing the results of what can happen when you cannot speak out at the appropriate time.  We believe that everyone has a voice and a story to tell and should always have the right to tell their story themselves.

So we challenge you to fill these pages with your story, your thoughts, your energy and get the attention of those you are trying to reach.  With this novel idea we can begin to change the way news is reported in a positive and powerful way through our newspapers.   Join us, the first newspaper to take this important step forward toward regaining our voice.
